The homeowner didn't just want a patio. He wanted to reclaim a piece of his property's history.
When he first bought the home decades ago, the area in question was an old garage. Over the years it was torn down, rebuilt, repurposed, and reimagined in countless ways. This time he wanted something lasting, elevated, and worthy of the home he has poured his life into.
Tim from Outback Design stepped in with a vision. After seeing the transformation we created for a mutual client, he knew exactly who to call. He wanted craftsmanship, precision, and a little bit of magic. He wanted the space done right.
The Transformation
To bring the space back to life, we began by grading the entire area to create a perfectly level foundation. Once the homeowner approved the layout, our team built the forms, set the rebar, and laid the gravel base.
Then came the pour.
Once the slab reached the ideal hardness, we applied a custom border and stamped the surface using six different stamps. Layering texture and detail created a distressed wood and stone look that feels rustic and refined. A rich color tint brought the entire design to life.
The Reaction
Tim could not be happier. He keeps staring at the patio and showing it off to friends, neighbors, and anyone who stops by. He still cannot believe he is looking at concrete. He is already planning his first barbecue on the new space.
